Empty words and no action. Continued support for UNRWA by donor countries despite their very real knowledge of the realities of Palestinian education and its antisemitic motivation. Even after publicly declaring concern for the situation (as has occurred in the UK and Sweden), no withdrawal of financial support for this obviously highly political organisation.

Scratch beneath the surface and we shall find the deeply rooted antisemitism that has existed on the European continent for hundreds of years and still exists. You’d think the terrible history exposed of Europe and its Jews would be enough to caution their attitudes and actions. If not that, then what? The answer, it would appear, is ‘nothing’.
