Mr. Waldmann should also listen to the speech by Generall Sissi of Egypt where he talks of the need for a “Religious Revolution” within Islam at the present time to prevent future catastrophic consequences.

Notions such as Islamic religious movements emerged as a reaction to the failure of Arab states…
Islam has never “exited” Arab states, quite the opposite is true. The “failure” of alternative societies were not the result of “failures” of the alternatives, but a result of incessant conflict between the transformations required by a modernised minority with the existing MILLENARIAN islamic mores, political structures.
Post-colonial Arab lands have been re-fashioned into political entities in a quasi artificial manner, from atop a westernised bourgeoisie, in all cases planted with outside, former colonial support.
Traditional religious elite was, at once oppressed and conditioned to resist in its MORE effective way, by simply continue to exist and, of course, preach.
Fundamental islam and that includes ALL current paramilitary islmic extreme forms, never left the places now we discover them. ALL islamic countries are the NATURAL, organic environment for ANY form of islam, no matter how extreme we consider it. Post Ataturk Turkey is reversing to pre-Ataturk and it seems to do it seamlessly. Te only country where the phenomenon of “non-reversal” trend is Indonesia and that is mostly explained by several environmental-cultural specifics.

France is a completely different kettle of poison or fish, if you want.
France is the victim of its own failed imperialistic dream, grandomaniac philo francophon ambitions.
After the failure of athe post WWII colonial system France extended its voluntary “affection” to its former territories by impling and explicitely zealously campaigning for a France STILL paternally “concerned” for its “enfants’ as she actually calls her citizens – citoyens – . As a result, the children came home to roost and also to…..roast Moman France.
The result is precisely this insurmountable crisis.
As I am not the one who discovered the phenomenon, the locals are discussing it day in day out and they are banging their heads against wall, TV studio furniture, Parliament and Senate benches and pulpits and still unable to provide anything that would stop them looking for a way out. At least the French Jews DO have a way out. Otherwise, the ones staying put are properly scolded in their own juices at least five Michellin stars or just as properly intercorsed, whichever way you like….
