At the coal face of tachles, the current massive anti Israel international onslaught must be treated with the balannced detachment of mathematical realities cum legal effects.
In actual fact we should all know and recognise by now that the UN move by the PA is a mere escalation of the seemingly endless conflict against Israel. I deliberately did not qualify whose conflict. By now the palestinians have managed to engage a multitude of entities on their side. This is to say also that the propaganda end respective alignment of much more serious officialdon – actual governments – are now building a much higher wall of objections to an increasing number of matters Israeli. The insidious side of these eescalations resides with the essential tactics of the palestinian strategists. Palestinian statehood is but an issue on which a farcical ideology has been hoisted on the entire world in the post 1967 politcal era.
The expansion of a proposition which had no logic at the outset into a causa belli and cause for a MAJORITY of states listed at the UN .A mere 45 years after the launching of the palestinian profile developed into a perceived acuteness of a “national” struggle, defies fundamantals of international poltical functions. One of the most potent elements of the said cause has been the embrace of it by the universal muslim lobby. From a simple pet issue, palestine has become the war cry of an increasing number of islamic institutions. The modelling of a persecuted arab ( to which falsely islam has attached its own exclusive imprimatur )in the “person” of the palestinian at the hands of the Israeli terror machine, has contributed in some measure to the consolidation of a number of OTHER ideologies,previously unattached to the islamic cum palestinian cause.Thus we have leftists of all gender happy to promote their otherwise armchair enthusiasm ( considering the dissapearance of the communist bloc )into an activism replete with the inevitable hysteria of a redundant political system. It is funny how Marx introduced the notion of “political bankrupcy” only to offer history his own formula for exactly the same….Nevertheless, his followers of latter days are passionately attached to a bankrupt set of well expressed absurdities to which a new middle eastern flavour is added, hoping for some reprieve from irreversible disappearnce. As far as the palestinian front, it shall continue to spread its venom and, with the advent of the “spring revolutions” shall enjoy “new”/old support once again at state levels. UN is, however, the tool of higher impositions on Israel which was quite inevitable to be used at this level by a palestinian entity whose reiason d’etre is nothing but existence by creative destruction.

Criticism of Israel is that , not attacks on the Jewish people. Hamas charter is the mirror image of Likud’s charter. And the What is the legal, political and historical basis for the “homeland of Jews” c;aim ? Are Morrocan Berbers, Libyans, Tunisians, Egyptians, Ethipopians, Iraquis, Iranians, Yemenis, Indians, Americans and canadians entitled to a “homeland” because they are Jews ?
And where are the entire Jewish people being vilified and attacked ? The people leading the criticism of Israel and the BDS include Jews and even Australian Jews and children of holocaust survivors.
And what flaw can SInger point in the PLO stand on Jews, the Palestinians, Muslim,Christian, Druze and Jews are a nation. The Jews are a religion/cultural group unless Singer wishes to claim that the Falashmura of Ethiopia and the Shanivar Teli of India, Henry Kissinger and Vladimir Jabotinsky are a single nationality. The Jews have existed from Morroco to Ethipoia, England to Russia and Iraq to India for millineia. So where is the single nationality ?
