In answer to your queries:

A. In the same way as Israel is compelled to do things – by constant and concerted US pressure on Jordan to come to the table and negotiate with Israel.

B. The boundary will weave its way through the West Bank as is decided by Israel and Jordan in direct negotiations

C. I would expect that the overwhelming majority of the Jewish settlements would be on the Israeli side of the new border.

For those that are not – two alternatives could be proposed:
(a) stay where you are and become Jordanian citizens OR
(b) be compensated and move to the Israeli side of the new border

Similar options would be available to Arab residents remaining on the Israeli side of the new border.

What an unbelievable crock of sh** this idea is!!

A. The Jordanians want no part of it – how would you compel them?

B. Where is the boundary – The 1967 line? The Separation Wall?

C. Will the settlements be inside the Israeli part? If No, then how will you deal with the wrath of the settlers?

why haven’t they been listening to you, david, for all these years. the solution is the only one that makes sense, but sense is something that is critically missing in the palestinian camp and in the major world power player advising in this conflict.
hope the time comes that they will take up your idea, david.
