In light of recent surveys of millenials a large proportion of whom are clueless about the Shoah the next step should be a concerted campaign to make Holocaust studies a compulsory part of the high school curriculum. Unless the high school generation are exposed to the facts of the Shoah ignorance will proliferate. Most will never be exposed to the subject at university. The earlier that education is commenced the greater the chances are of success.
The NZ Government which gave safe haven to a Waffen SS member and did nothing to hold him accountable must be shamed into making Holocaust studies compulsory.
