I just hope that your words are matched by your actions young lady.

No doubt there will be plenty of trusting souls who will think that the NZ Prime Minister has finally “seen the light.”

Once you analyze her message closely you will discover that it is a purely political charm offensive written by one of her speech writers. While waxing eloquently about her perception of Chanukah and the attributes of the NZ Jewish community she clearly omits to acknowledge that the Festival itself is all about Jewish sovereignty in Israel and its Capital, Jerusalem.

If she and her Government were really genuine in their understanding of this holiday they would not have once again voted to deny Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem and would have joined Australia in voting against all six resolutions passed at the UN General Assembly on Friday.
