Different time, different imperatives.

The Hashemite Crown Prince of Jordan has recently married a girl from a prominent Saudi family.

Burying the hatchet by signing a peace treaty is common practice.

This idea should be given an opportunity to fly – because there is no other solution on the horizon to match its game-changing outcomes – recognition of Israeli sovereignty in part of the West Bank, Jerusalem as Israel’s sole capital and Palestinians wherever they live being offered Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine citizenship and the right to live in the newly-created entity.
