How I wish this article could influence the religious powers that be, as a WAKE UP call, to make positive adjustments in the current religious status quo, for the future of all Jews, worldwide, and especially those living in Israel.
The current religious situation is both disturbing and frightening, for the future of the Jewish people, Am Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael.

If the considerations and changes you purport do not come about I fear for the ongoing polarising of society in Israel, as well as the inhumane exercise of a fundamentalist power that creates misery and injustice. The fundamentalism of the Ultra-Orthodox will come to resemble Islamic fundamentalism in its repercussions. I commend you on the comprehensive discussion you’ve provided. I have fair knowledge of the religious ‘factions’ within Israel, and yet did not know of Tzohar. Thanks for such an informative piece.
