According to reports, the Queensland man said, “I’m not doing anything wrong”.

Henrik Bussman claims that he raised the Nazi flag as a protest against his neighbours who fly a noise producing Australian flag in memory of their son who died in a motor cycle accident 30 years ago. Patrick and Doreen Hinks could face a $1707 fine from the Gold Coast Council for failing to comply with requests to “alleviate the nuisance”.

Dr. Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission, issued the following statement:

“This is offensive on so many levels. Nazi flags have no place in the Gold Coast or anywhere else in Australia. Nazi symbols have come to personify pure evil and genocide, and the gratuitous use of such imagery is shocking , demeaning to victims of the Holocaust and a perversion of history. While it is hard to imagine what this man was thinking,  it is revolting that there are still those who would openly support the ideology and crimes of a racist regime that murdered six million Jews and millions of others. Though it is not against the law, such bigoted and antisemitic expressions are deeply disturbing and must be unequivocally condemned.”

Sad that we have such morons living in Australia. They do not deserve to live here.

Apart from the obvious, this only raises one question; why it not illegal to fly a nazi flag?
