What a pathetic joint statement by Shorten and Plibersek. How is it in anyway useful, credible or realistic? Mere posturing. They might as well have kept their mouths shut.

Unfortunately the Abbott Coalition government are a disaster for the country, governing for big business and the rich or comfortable, with no idea whatsoever of the very real plight of a multitude of Australians. So, I couldn’t entertain voting for them.

This view espoused by the Shadow leadership make me so thankful that they are no longer in power. This is a hysterical myopic response to a difficult war that Israel is having to wage against Hamas. All the media and the UN and USA are showing their true colours – and they are not blue and white! The sad truth is that Hamas love death, including death of their own children and women so they can point to Israel as the heinous warmongers. They love to use their own children and women as human shields when they fire their rockets from their houses, apartments, kindergartens, mosques and hospitals. What sort of soldier deliberately puts the lives of their own countrymen at risk? who does this? – only a hate filled terrorist! NO! Israel must not stop until they have routed and destroyed all their terror tunnels. Regrettably civilians do get killed and injured, especially when put in harms way. But Israel MUST protect her own civilians and Hamas must be crushed so Gaza can be freed for the Palestinians.
