It is simple, while almost everyone wins, except the PLO elite. The major obstacle is the flawed belief that a separate Palestinian state is a necessity in the Middle East.
As an optimist, I can only hope that it transpires sometime, but also as a realist, I cannot see it happening in the foreseeable future.
