It seems he wants the Israel Prize, and undoubtedly that would stroke his ego. However, it is right to deny him this prize.

He says one thing, yet does another, in relation to BDS, so is not even courageous enough to be totally consistent. He is allowing himself to be used by antisemites and Israel haters. He is sitting in a position of comfort in academia while biting the hand that feeds him. Such hypocrisy all round.
