While diplomatic relations with these Arab states are desirable, it should be borne in mind, that these states are feeling the heat with Iran. If and when the wind changes, they will drop relations with Israel . You need look no further than Tunisia, Morocco, Turkey to see how whimsical these relations can be. Saudi Arabia is desperate for a lifeline now, and despite its Wahhabism , crude Antisemitism and primitive misogynistic culture, may need Israel's help for now. But it's not a deep relationship based on shared values. In the long term Israel , while seeking some strategic alliances, needs to be realistic. Perhaps in the distant future, when the Iranian regime has changed, Israel can again enjoy relations with this ancient culture. At best for now, relations with Saudi Arabia etc converge because of a common threat. Nothing more.
