Israel’s Minister of Justice Avi Nisserkorn has signed the extradition order to allow authorities to bring Malka Leifer to Australia to face the 74 charges of child sexual abuse.

 

TRANSLATION:

 

Extradition order

On July 10, 2013, the Australian government, through its embassy in Israel, submitted an application for the extradition of Malka Leifer, Born 8.9.1966, I.D 022683940, to stand trial for the following offences:

Indecent act. Offences under section 39(1) The Australian Penal Code, each of which carries ten years in prison (multiple violations).

Indecent act on a minor who has reached the aged of 16 or 17. Offences under section 49(1) The Australian Penal Code, each of which carries five years in prison (multiple violations).

Rape. Offences under section 38(1) The Australian Penal Code, each of which carries 25 years in prison (multiple violations).

Performing an act of sexual penetration on a minor who has reached the aged of 16 or 17. Offences under section 48(1) The Australian Penal Code, each of which carries ten years in prison (multiple violations).

On September 21 2020, District court declared Malka Leifer as fit for extradition to Australia for the offences attributed above (The state of Israel against Leifer); and, after on December 15 2020, the Supreme court rejected an appeal on the decision (Leifer against the Attorney General)

Under my authority under the Extradition Act, order the extradition of Malka Leifer to the Australian authorities; to be prosecuted there for the offences listed above.

    Justice delayed is justice denied.
    Thanks to Haredi fundamentalists this sordid saga has dragged on.
    Now the alleged perpetrator will have her day in court !!
