Dan was almost signed by Michael Gudinski when his band Second Dan were running hot but decided to take the law scholarship route, which opened doors he has since entered to now be in the most powerful position in our music industry.

We discuss the State Memorial for Michael Gudinski at Rod Laver Arena, where speeches and performances with video dedications from a galaxy of stars who worked with MG, created a very special event that even Frontier Touring could barely match.

Before the musical finale with Ed Sheeren, Kylie Minogue, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Mia Wray and Mark Seymour with Vika & Linda Bull, there was a spiritual dedication by Rabbi Menachem Wolf of Spiritgrow, who blew his shofar, spoke of the special uniqueness of Michael’s soul, then sang a psalm-based version of “Hallelujah”.

The rendition of Hallelujah by Rabbi Wolf was something to hear…. a replay here would be grand for those who didn’t hear it.
