The Israeli Embassy in Wellington is hosting a film festival in the New Zealand capital for the first time.

A spokesperson for the embassy said: “The very first Israeli Film Gala which will take place on 13 and 14 December 2011 at Club Garibaldi – 118 Tory Street.

In total we will be screening 4 different Israeli films; ‘Noodle’, ‘Things behind the Sun’, ‘Schwartz Dynasty’ and ‘The Band’s visit’ all FREE of charge and of course we would love to see you too!”

Actually, back in 1997 the Embassy of Israel in Wellington hosted an Israeli film festival, so its wrong to claim this as a first. I remember walking out in disgust as the movie I went to see was full of left wing rubbish that would make any anti-Zionist self hating jew very proud.
