Big mistake to have wasted so much time in attempted appeasement and conciliatory gestures to the world and in doing so misrepresented the real situation existing in Israel, Gaza and the West Bank. Now, not only is it going to be hard to get others to believe it, it will be hard to get them even interested in listening. But we must try. It means a complete change of tactics and a thick skin to deflect vituperative responses.
