Dr David Adler to speak at international political conference
The Australian Jewish Association (AJA) President Dr David Adler has been confirmed as a featured speaker for a 20-minute presentation at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Australia to be held on the 4th November 2020 in Sydney.
The date aligns with the US Presidential election, allowing for time-zone.
CPAC is the largest conservative political conference in the US and past speakers have included President Trump, Vice-President Mike Pence, Ambassador Nikki Haley, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Jared Kushner, US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and many other centre-right conservative speakers.
CPAC Australia last year was addressed by former Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Peta Credlin, Chair of the Institute of Public Affairs Janet Albrechtsen as well as overseas guests, Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage and Sen Mark Meadows, now the White House Chief of Staff.
He joins other confirmed speakers including Sen Eric Abetz, Sen Jim Molan, Rowan Dean, Warren Mundine, Hon Mark Latham MP, Jacinta Price, Craig Kelly MP, Prof Ian Plimer, Alan Jones, Hon Ross Cameron and Dr Kevin Donelly.
Dr Adler said, “I propose to tell something about the establishment and growth of AJA as a centre-right conservative voice for the Jewish community based on staying true to a set of principles and values and in doing so perhaps inspire others”.
In addition to its major US presence, CPAC has held events in some Asian and European countries. Plans are also in place for a CPAC Israel (once coronavirus restrictions are lifted) for which AJA will serve as the Australian connection.
Dr David Adler said: “This is truly remarkable recognition for the place of AJA in the broader centre-right and conservative political dialogue in Australia. CPAC is traditionally very pro-Israel and supportive of the Jewish community.”
CPAC Australia director, Andrew Cooper, will be the guest for an AJA virtual event on 30 September.

Well done David you should be honoured that AJA were the only Jewish organisation recognised in our main stream Community to be invited to this international conference .I’m sure you will feel welcomed amongst this very pro- Israel , Pro- Jewish list of speakers .
