(Incidentally, this request is not for publication). My wife – now rising 90 is the daughter of Mrs Esther Werchowsky who was a lifetime friend of Shirlee’s grandmother, Passe (transliteration of the Yiddish) Borman. We have a picture of her grandmother tallking to my wife’s mother whom she visited every week, coming by bus from the East End of London. I speak in schools about Israel and the Shoah, and would be very pleased to know how this movie can be shown in other States of Australia, or even offered to interested teachers, and I have ideas for this to happen.
