Melbourne Jewish radio station J-AIR will broadcast Chanukah festivities directly from Glen Eira Park on Sunday.

Station manager Robert Bontschek told J-Wire: “Many of the stations presenters will be showcasing their shows allowing the park audience and the radio audience to listen in.”

J-Air provides over 45 hours per week of live shows brought to air by more than 30 producers and presenters. J-AIR also offers Yiddish, Hebrew and Russian programming.

Bontschek received this year’s JCCV Community Services Award for his contribution in founding J-AIR. The Award recognizes Robert’s effort in creating J-AIR and building it to where it now stands today, as Australia’s only Jewish Community Radio station, broadcasting 24/7 to, Melbourne listeners on 87.8Fm, Australian listeners and the world via the internet.

Nothing Left is a highlight of the week on J-AIR and is the only radio program in Australia that advocates a positive message for Israel. Michael Burd and Alan Freeman will be broadcasting Nothing Left from the park from 5pm with special guest John Michael-Howson. There will be other programs of music and entertainment presented live from the park.

    Studio looks good but the cable tray needs to be covered with a piece of ply. It is not professional to leave it in its current state Baaab.
