After reading Susan Zuccotti’s book sometime ago,I spent hours researching Rome’s Chief Rabbi Israele Zolli. Not only did he not make a serious attempt re-embrace his Jewish heritage after the war when it was possible without repercussion, instead chose to become a trophy for Pius Xll and remains embellished today.
I suppose he could be an instrument for the Interfaith movement on reflection, but that’s not the question here.
