‘Australia is safe for Jews’, Richard Marles. How can you say that to Israelis who might want to come here, when Australia isn’t even safe for its own Jewish communities? What are you talking about? Are you stubbornly blind to what is happening in Melbourne and Sydney in particular, as well as elsewhere?
Australia is becoming increasingly unsafe for Jews because there is not proper action taken by police or government in response to the intimidation and violent speech rendered by those who seek to harm Jews. It will only get worse while this kind of passivity encourages it. Wake up and stop with the rhetoric.

I thought October 7 was when Hamas attacked (declaring war by their action” Israeli citizens? Australia should be alarmed and ashamed of the antisemitism shown in public in recent weeks. Islamophobia ?? It wasn’t Jewish people who jumped into their cars and headed out to suburbs with lots of Muslims.

Richard Marles – and all Australian Governments. “Australia is safe” … tell that the visiting Israeli families of hostages taken by Hamas, tell that to the 2 schoolchildren who were assaulted in Sydney today. Understand that the absence of any consequences for these and similar acts, endorses the actions of the perpetrators and encourages others.
