]]> https://www.jwire.com.au/australia-day-message-from-the-prime-minister/#comment-61226 Sun, 26 Jan 2014 04:14:36 +0000 http://www.jwire.com.au/?p=40035#comment-61226 “Team Australia” what a boorish comment to make we are not a team we are supposedly a nation however even that is debatable given the ethnic divide that exists between European, Aboriginal and migrants from the Middle East, Northern Africa and East Asia those who have supposedly fled problems in their own countries only to arrive on our shores and demand that we adopt their religious ways (Sharia) whose loyalties are divided, who return to their country of origin to fight for extremist groups etc. Then there is us “Aussies” we wil head ogf in droves for a day of BBQ’s, Beer, Bashings and Flag waving for what to pick up the paper tomorrow and read of the victims of one punch incidents, drunken disturbances, arrests and simply put anti social behaviour. Yep Tony: I’m Proud. I am a disenfranchised Australian who sees little future in this country for myself at 60 years of age. The true Australia Day if you must have one is the day we became a Federation of states and an independent country which was January the 1st 1901. Today is really NSW day. A nation was not born on this date just a British colony.
