The Leader of the Australian Greens has sent a Rosh Hashanah message to Australia’s Jewish community.

Richard di Natale

Richard di Natale

Richard Di Natale said: “On behalf of the Australian Greens, I extend best wishes to Australia’s Jewish community for a prosperous, healthy and safe new year.

The Australian Jewish community has always been an integral part of the fabric of Australia, helping to build a vibrant, tolerant and multicultural society.  I stand with you in working towards a world free of antisemitism so that we all can live in peace and harmony.

Rosh Hashanah is one of the holiest days of the year.  It is not only a celebration of the New Year, but a time for reflection and to look back at the year past and to think about how to make the next year a better one.  It is a time to look ahead with hope.

The tradition of reflection and celebration is one all people can learn from.

As members of the Jewish community gathering in synagogues and homes, I wish everyone in the Australian Jewish community shanah tovah and a safe, peaceful, and successful new year.

Never mind Lee Rhiannon and Sarah Hanson-Young.
Richard Di Natale recognised the right of Israel to exist before he was Greens leader. However, once he became Greens leader he withdrew recognition of the right of Israel to even exist. He is a hypocrite.

  2. Gary Inberg says:

BDS promoting co-senators like Lee Rhiannen and the virulently pro-palestinian Sarah-Hanson-Young think of that? Yes – what would they think!

  3. phil levy says:

Did Lee Rhiannon approve this message?

  4. Rita L. says:

I wonder what his Israel-hating, BDS promoting co-senators like Lee Rhiannen and the virulently pro-palestinian Sarah-Hanson-Young think of that?
