The Palestinian people inhabiting Judea and Samaria are Israel’s white elephant. The moral expense of their continued subjugation is horrendous, but Israel cannot free itself from the responsibility of maintaining their welfare. Phillips would do well to write less about the land and more about the people occupying it. In the process, she might even propose a workable solution to the impossible situation that Israel is locked into. British and American Jewish roof organisations should do likewise instead of bickering among themselves.

I find it very hard to understand how any Jew could be opposed to Jewish sovereignty being restored in the Jewish People’s biblical heartland – Judea and Samaria – last enjoyed 3000 years ago – and made possible again by the San Remo Resolution and Treaty of Sevres in 1920, the 1922 League of Nations Mandate for Palestine and the Trump Peace Plan 100 years later.

Jewish organisztions such as J Street, Yachad and New Israel Fund using the PLO’s false and misleading language “West Bank annexation” – are missing the big picture – the realisation of a 3000 years old dream turning into a miraculous reality that our generation has been given the privilege to witness and celebrate. It will become an important date forever in the Jewish calendar – just as Yom Ha’atzmaut and Yom Yerushalayim.

Should Jewish communal organizations aim to achieve consensus above all or bear witness to the truth?

Absolutely not!
It’s a problem within society itself not just Jewish organisations and certainly can be unhealthy spirituality and mentality.
Not to mention ulcers!

The recent mention I made to the thesis by Luana Gorris is worthy of notice.
In her acknowledgements she gives a litany of names ending with……

That’s a girl knowing who she is and what she stands for.
