Germany ought pay the majority of restitution as the Nazi Germans started the War .
But many Polish People were wickedly guilty .
The demoralisation of defeat by the Nazis in weeks poisoned the proud brave but severely under equipped Polish Army with a terrible escalation of hate against the Jewish people .
This grave demoralisation led to the collaboration of indifference as regards the Nazis particularly the refusal to supply arms to the Jewish resistance to blow up railway tracts between Warsaw and Treblinka for example .
The Polish Resistance had arms in August 1944 there was a huge Revolt against the Nazis then the Polish People were betrayed on Stalins orders who refused to provide at least air cover or even allow the British who were in France and Italy to send RAF or USA air cover .
Hidden Jewish people in Warsaw were killed when the Nazis counterattacked with heavy weapons and destroyed Warsaw .

It’s true. Restitution problem applies mainly to the eastern part of Poland, hstorically part of Galicja and earlier ukrainian Kiev Principality. People voted there now for Duda, giving him majority of votes in presidential election, when rest of the country plus big cities (and young and educted) voted in favour of Trzaskowski. Duda voters were mainly from a country where there was no Jews even before the war but was clergy antisemitic propaganda. These voters of Duda are not adopted to dramatic changes after end of communism, being mainly old and backward. Liberals in power missed them totally and must change their policy, waiting for biology to make changes in their favour take too much time.
