Also, whilst it is indeed a wonderful experience for students to practice with a renowned chamber orchestra in rehearsals, I find it a little odd that the performance on the actual concert night would include students as part of the ACO. ( if this was actually the case).

The ACO is a chamber orchestra of world renown and the students are being given an amazing opportunity. And so is Melbourne – a similar ACO concert at Emanuel Synagogue in Sydney was an outstanding event. I suggest that you go!
