Isn't Olmert the guy who speaks only Hebrew to the world press, or does Bush have liutgisnic skills we didn't know about ?Other international leaders get credit for addressing the world in English, however badly; but this arrogant racist doesn't give a shit what the world thinks of Israel's atrocities as long as he has USA backin' him up with bombs and spin.And Condoleeza Rice has shown herself at the last ditch as a despicable flunky.She could and should have broken ranks with the disgraced Bush regime.This would have immeasurably improved her creds with the Obamistas.I thought she would have been a better choice for Obama than HRC.I was wrong.

Isn’t the disgrace the other way around? Fancy any Jewish organisation, let alone a progressive one, inviting the architect of Lebanon War II and Cast Lead. Over 100 Israelis, about 1400 Palestinians and as lightly smaller number of Lebanese are dead and of course nothing to show for it. This in a relatively short time as accidental Prime Minister. And there is the slight matter of serious charges of corruption before the Israel legal system. In Israel we have the presumption of innocence, at least for Jews. But to paraphrase Tuvia HaKholev, being accused of corruption is no great honour either.

No wonder the writer is unhappy. There is nothing worse than one who betray’s, either friend or country.
I guess the dinner table is one place where examples are made, imagine what’s in store for many families today.

The excessive “progressive” stances taken by Olmert reflect the complexities found in his family.The only “support” he would get at the dinner table would be for him to make more “moral” concessions to the irresponsible platform of Jewish Judaic rejectionists,those of J Street and the New Israel Fund ilk who know much better what it means to protect our identity !!!
Luckily, Olmert is now a great political irrelevance. Isi is presenting accurately the logical flow of his current manifestations.
