Topol to be major speaker for Sydney JNF

Israeli actor Topol who achieved fame world-wide for his portrayal of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof has confirmed he will attend as guest speaker at the JNF NSW Major Donor Dinner next month for his only Sydney appearance.

Topol be joining us again next month for his 80th birthday,

It  has been nine years since Chaim Topol performed on stage in Sydney as his famed character of “Tevye the milkman” in the sell-out Australian tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

Funds raised from the evening will be in support of the Jordan River Village in the Galilee, which provides respite programs for children from all over Israel with serious medical conditions.

The keynote speaker on the evening will be Entebbe hero, Lt. Gen. (Res) Shaul Mofaz who served as IDF Chief of Staff, Defence Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel during critical phases of her recent history.
