In the Queen’s Birthday Honours announced overnight, a Sydney professor who has committed a huge part of his life to the field of HIV/AIDS and a legal reformer have been awarded the AM.

Roslyn Feitelson, a tireless charity worker in Sydney who died earlier this year has been awarded an OAM posthumously.

There were no Jewish recipients in the top two rankings  AC – Companion in the General Division and AO – Officer in the General Division
