Three legged race to help youth

In an attempt to break a Guinness World Record, 321, a Sydney program which raises awareness about youth mentoring programs, is staging a 3 legged race.

Mimi Zilka ( JewishCare) , Megan Hosiosky (JewishCare) , Rachel Collins, Becca Kellner (JewishCare) Vicki Condon, Barbara Burker (Raise Foundation), Nicola Haddock (YWCA)

321  represents 3 legs  2 people and 1 goal.

Sydney’s JewishCare is a member of the Organising Committee for this Event, together with the YWCA, The Australian Youth Mentoring Network, and Raise Mentoring. JewishCare offers two successful mentoring programs for children and young people in the Jewish community, (Big Brothers Big Sisters Program, and Young Adult Mentoring Program).

Mentors play a significant role in a child’s life.

Through the consistent and reliable support and friendship of a positive mentor, a child’s confidence and self-esteem can be significantly increased, helping to build strength and resilience.
