There has been another antisemitic incident on Australia’s campuses

This time graffiti was found scrawled on a gate sign at the University of Adelaide…and more was discovered today.

A spokesperson for the university told J-Wire: “Unfortunately we have had a graffiti incident on campus.

SA Police are aware and we have extra patrols and surveillance already in place.  Such behaviour will not be tolerated on our campuses.”

Matthew Lesh, Political Affairs Director of the Australasian Union of Jewish Students told J-Wire:  “This graffiti represents an extremely worrying displaying of antisemitism on campus property.

Jewish students regularly feel intimidated and harassed on campus, and this kind of anonymous action does not help especially in Adelaide where there is a small Jewish community.

We call upon Adelaide University, and other universities that have been implicated in antisemitic attacks, to respond to these types of incidents in timely, methodical and professional manner.

A spokesperson for Adelaide University added:  “Any form of racism or religious vilification will not be tolerated at the University of Adelaide.  The University of Adelaide supports a campus community where justice and individual rights are respected without prejudice.  Maintaining standards of civility are a fundamental part of the University of Adelaide environment.

“The University’s Fair Treatment Policy outlines behavioural standards required of all members of the University community in their interactions with other members of the University community, and the public whilst undertaking University activities. Any breach of this policy is dealt with quickly and appropriately.”

But in spite of the university’s concern, more graffiti was discovered today.

ANY racist graffiti anywhere, is a dreadful. But from what I can see from the photo, all the 3 graffiti are in the same handwriting and reflect a one-person campaign.

Is this an outbreak of an anti-Semitic campaign, or rather, the delusions of an individual scumbag? I strongly suspect it is the latter.

Jew World Order is a phrase from neo-Nazi websites and reminiscent of traditional views of organisations like the League of Rights. It has to be put into perspective.

Regrettably, Adelaide has long-been home to right wing nuts.

Regrettably ‘larry stillman’ the University of Adelaide has long-been home to LEFT wing nuts.

They host a steady stream of people such as Ilan Pappe and Mustafa Barghouthi.

They have a very active group ‘Australian Friends of Palestine association’ who harass shoppers in Rundle Mall almost weekly with their vile BDS actions against Seacret.

This does not surprise me in the slightest.

This weekend they are demonstrating against the Batsheva Dance Company.

Kingston i am not kidding, there is only one way to stamp out this crimanal activity, and that is to expel the persons responsible for this, and go one further, publicise it
