Tradesmen worked to the last minute to get Sydney’s newest shul ready to open its doors for Rosh HaSahanah.

Nominators for the Liberal Wentworth candidacy visit the new shule

Rabbi Dr Dovid Slavin told J-Wire he is the interim rabbi. He said: “The renovation highlights the design features created by Harry Seidler over 50 years ago. This Rosh Hashanah many of the worshippers will come from the Nefesh Shule’s community as their buildings are going through major changes so we welcome Rabbi Aron Moss and his members.

In the meantime our new shule, which is yet to be named will welcome anyone who still has no place to go to daven.”

The new synagogue accommodates 250 people. It is a part of the Harry Triguboff Centre in Flood St, Bondi.

If my memory serves me correctly, Mr Rabinowitz built that synagogue. Not sure why his name has been removed? Additionally, He brought out Rabbi hertz, following that Rabbi Barzel and rabbi Feldman in 1966. Not sure though when Rabbi Slavin became the interim Rabbi?
