The Pyjama Game leads to the Fame Game
The skyrocketing success of Australia’s El Supremo of the pyjama game, Peter Alexander, will be the subject of a segment of Channel 9’s 60 Minutes on Sunday.

Confronted with an unwanted order placed by a leading department store several years ago, Melbourne-based Peter called on help from his friends to sell the pyjamas directly to the public through mail order. But his best friend turned out to be his mother Julette, who was astounded by the response and told J-Wire that she recalls having to return cheques to customers as they ran out of the jammies.They have worked closely together ever since.
His business went through the roof as he continued down the path of mail order but that was to change when his eponymous company was bought out by the Just Group…for more on the mother and son team, tune in to Channel 9 on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m.
