Former Premier of NSW and distinguished businessman Nick Greiner has launched “The 4th of May” – the personal memoir of Hungarian-born Paul Galy.

 

A talented artist, Galy drew the illustrations for the book which lays out in detail his times in Nazi-occupied Budapest and the emergence of his new family life in Sydney. He joined his father in the family business which provided footwear for victims of debilitating diseases and lower leg amputees. In 2007 he was awards an OAM for his service to the community as a medical grade footwear practitioner and manufacturer.
