With regard to the ongoing dispute between the Kashrut Authority and and Amaze In Taste, J-Wire publishes the RCNSW’s latest statement.

The Rabbinical Council of NSW wishes to advise through the courtesy of J-Wire that the statement in the AJN to the effect that  “….the Rabbinical Council of NSW has said it will appoint Rabbi Pinchus Feldman and Rabbi David Rogut to oversee AIT’s kashrut under the guidance of the RCNSW” was published without the authorisation of the Executive of the RCNSW.

The RCNSW is quietly confident that an agreement will swiftly be concluded between the relevant parties in the dispute, with the assistance and mediation of the Jewish Board Of Deputies and the JCA, to bring peace and harmony to the community while maintaining a single Kashrut Authority in NSW.

For the avoidance of any doubt, Rabbis Feldman and Rogut fully support the RCNSW’s mediation efforts. If an interim measure is needed pending agreement, it will be announced to the Community in good time with a formal statement by the RCNSW.
