Patron of the event is Epilepsy Australia Ambassador – ‘Captain Socceroo’ himself – PAUL WADE.  Wade was Socceroo Captain 1990 – 1996 with an extraordinary 118 caps (and 345 NSL Games) to his name. He also hosted the original iconic kids’ football TV show Captain Socceroo. An inspirational speaker, he continues to live with epilepsy and work for community awareness.

Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA) is hosting the event in association with its community partner Sydney FC, the match will combine celebrity players with sponsored amateurs – all raising funds for the cause. There will be fun kids’ activities and prizes aplenty. Entry is free.

The general public can support the event by sponsoring a player, donating directly online.  Full details, sign-up, video message from Paul Wade & donations: www.charityfootball.com.au
