Samoa Tsunami: No reports of Jewish casualties

There have been no reports of any Australian or New Zealand Jewish holidaymakers or visitors injured in the Samoan Tsunami.But the Israeli Embassy in Canberra has told J-Wire there were three Israeli citizens on the islands. A spokesperson told J-Wire: “Thankfully, all have been accounted for.”

Both the Jewish Community Council of Victoria and the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies told J-Wire that to date they had received no reports from the disaster-stricken area of casualties from within their communities. The New Zealand community has also received no reports to date.
