Daniel Andrews sends Rosh Hashanah greetings to the community.

Premier Daniel Andrews

Premier Daniel Andrews

“On behalf of the Victorian Government, it gives me great pleasure to extend my best wishes to our Jewish community as you celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

The New Year is a time to reflect on and celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months, and to look to the future. It is also a time to share with our families and friends.

The Jewish community has made, and continues to make, an extraordinary contribution to our society. Your generosity, goodwill and openness towards others expresses the spirit of our cohesive multicultural community.

The Victorian Government is proud of our State’s cultural and religious diversity and encourages our multicultural communities to share and celebrate their heritage with all of us.

I wish the Jewish community a happy, peaceful and prosperous Rosh Hashanah.

L’Shanah Tova.
