Canberra is the capital city of Australia and hosts a vibrant Jewish community as well as the Israeli Embassy.

Jewish Community
The National Jewish Memorial Centre, 31 National Circuit Forrest is located at the Canberra Ave corner of National Circuit in view of Parliament House.
The Centre is home for both Orthodox and Progressive shuls with regular services on Shabbat, Festivals and Rosh Chodesh. Weekly Talmud Shiur .
Educational classes are held for both children and adults.
The Canberra Jewish Community has many interest and social groups including: Canberra Jewish Youth, AUJS, Young Adults Network,  The Jewish Historical Society, NCJWA, Seniors’ social groups and Jewish Care.

Kosher supplies are available at Coles Manuka  and challot can be bought at the Centre on Fridays.
