Dr Mark Cherny talks with Henry Greener about Rabbi Steven Greenberg about the first openly gay orthodox Rabbi, who founded Eshel, a support, education and advocacy organisation for LGBT Orthodox Jews.

Rabbi Greenberg wrote the award-winning book “Wrestling with God and Men : Homosexuality in the Jewish Tradition” and will be visiting Melbourne in mid-June for Yom Limmud and other speaking engagements. Mark, although not homosexual, has been involved with Keshet, a local advocacy group for LGBTQI Jews.
