Dotted across the vast continent of Australia are little cities, each with its own stunning landscape, and small Jewish community as well. Some of these communities can be made up of 70 Jews, others 5 or even 1.
Chabad of RARA has made it their mission to reach every last Jew in Australia, connecting them with their heritage.
Purim saw RARA coordinate events in twelve of the bigger cities, some of them celebrating Purim for the first time ever.
Mendel Duchman and Mayer Brook flew and drove long hours to enable the Jews of Coffs Harbour NSW and Sunshine Coast QLD to fulfil the mitzvos of Purim properly.
Rabbi Yossi and Malki Rodal together with their children made a party in the Central Coast NSW at night, and in Newcastle NSW during the day.
Levi Rosenbaum and Joel Cassle joined the KEVA community in Wollongong NSW for a Purim spiel and meal.
Rabbi Ari and Mushkie Rubin and their two daughters hosted a raving 60s party in Cairns Qld and the previous night in Townsville QLD.
Mendy and Mushkie Rosenbaum drove to Geelong VIC where they held a Purim BBQ with the locals there.
Yossi Solomon rejoiced with the Jews of the Blue Mountains NSW.
Tomer and Rachel Benarosh visited Jews in Benalla VIC, stopped to cheer up a Jew in prison on the way and ended with a party in Albury Wodonga NSW.
Choni Bartfield and Mendel Gurkov joined with Josh in Nowra NSW in celebrating the Purim festivities.
About 350 people participated in Purim across Rural and Regional Australia.
