Applications for the Werdiger Jewish education grant scheme are now open.

The scheme has been in operation since 1997, and since that time has provided grants to over 100 familes to subsidise the cost of Jewish education. The scheme aims to help parents who are making active choices to either keep their child in a Jewish school, or move their child to a Jewish school. Families with children attending or considering attending Beth Rivkah Ladies College, Mount Scopus Memorial College, Leibler Yavneh College and Yeshivah College can apply.

Following a review, several extensions and enhancements have been made to the grant program this year. To make the application process more accessible, there are now several categories of grants, which are detailed on the new grant web site. While previously the grant scheme was only available to parents already receiving some form of fee relief, and via the participating schools, there is now a grant category for direct application for parents struggling with full fees.

Grants close this year on 28 September, and families will be notified of the results by 19 October. Applications can be made either via one of the participating schools, or directly. More detailed information about the grants please see the web site http://grants.werdiger.com, or contact the administrators by e-mail on educationgrants@werdiger.com
