YouTube has reversed its decision to terminate Palestinian Media Watch’s account.

YouTube “terminated” the Israel-based monitoring service’s account for violating their “terms of service,” which includes hate speech following its release of a video last week in which a Palestinian girl read a poem on official PA TV calling for “war that will smash the oppressor and destroy the Zionist’s soul,”

The terminated account contains nearly all of PMW’s videos.
PMW’s director Itamar Marcus told J-Wire: “I’m happy to tell you that the YouTube issue has been totally resolved. Some of our friends with connections to senior people at Google/YouTube made some calls for us. That, along with public pressure from PMW readers, articles in the media, and posts on social media all helped get the issue resolved very quickly.
Once in the past, in 2010, PMW’s YouTube account was suspended and all access to our videos blocked. That was also resolved after about a week, but it took us a full month before all features of our account was fully restored.”
