O’Connell Found Guilty

The jury in the Brendan O’Connell case reported earlier today on J-Wire has found him guilty on six out of seven charges of racial vilification.

O’Connell, 39, previously free on bail, was remanded in custody by Judge John Wisbey. He is expected to be sentenced on Monday.

An eye witness in Perth’s Distric Court told J-Wire: “O’Connell’s reaction was to shout ‘Free Palestine and Free Iraq and he said ‘Netanyahu will appear in the dock one day’.”
