Michael Danby will attend a Shabbat service in Mumbai, India this evening…at the newly rebuilt Chabad Synagogue.
The Melbourne Federal Member of Parliament and his wife Amanda will join other worshippers in this community which was the target of the horrific terrorist attack in November last year which took the lives of the Chabad’s Nariman House’s Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife Rivka.
Danby has been in Israel this week…a member of an Australian parliamentary group headed by Deputy Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
