New face at Jewish Care

Meigan Lefebure has been appointed as General Manager, Services for Older People at  Melbourne’s Jewish Care.

With close to 20 years’ experience in the residential aged care sector as a prominent registered nurse and a manager, Meigan has an outstanding record of leadership;  strategic and financial management as a facility manager, chief executive, state operations manager and national manager in compliance.

In her most recent role as General Manager Operations at Gold Age Pty Ltd, Lefebure designed and implemented financial strategies that significantly improved operational performance and successfully streamlined the operational processes across four diverse sites.

Lefebure also sits on a number of boards and committees, such as the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) industry reference group, established by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to advise and guide the development of aged care funding tools.  She is also a panel member of the Nurse Adviser and Administrator Panel for the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
