ROXANNE AZOORY

Roxanne Azoory

Roxanne Azoory moved to Sydney from Canada to do a Postgraduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and still hasn’t left. If she is still here to present at Yom Limmud, it will mean the first stage of her permanent residency application was accepted and she hasn’t been chucked off the continent yet. Besides a busy professional life focusing on neck injury rehabilitation and participating in research on whiplash disorders, Roxanne is also Chair of the NSW Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Committee and Vice Captain of the Sydney University Cheerleading Team – deemed the most dangerous sport for women…possibly just after she joined. Roxanne has a keen interest in film, film analysis and the use of film to explore human behaviour and experience.
Roxanne will present Public menacing, indecency and lawsuits: How does Sacha Baron Cohen get away with it all? at 4.30 – 5.30pm.
