A small group of Mount Scopus College students have been volunteering to visit Emmy Monash Aged Care once a month as part of the Bridging the Gap Program.
Part of the College’s Year 9 Achshav Initiative, the program aims to foster mutual respect, understanding and friendships across the age gap through participating in a range of activities including walks in the park, film discussions, a trivia quiz, chair yoga and Zumba gold.
This is the third year the program has been operating.
