Medical Writing Award for Margo
Noted author and Australian Financial Review health columnist, Jill Margo, has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship, one of Australia’s most prestigious awards.
Her Churchill Fellowship for 2012 will be enable her to study new developments in rehabilitation following treatment for prostate cancer.
She plans to spend a month in the United States and Israel researching this serious issue affecting men’s health. Her fellowship will be funded by the Bob and June Prickett Trust within the Winston Churchill memorial Trust.
Jill Margo has been the recipient of 19 national and international award for journalism, including previously winning two Walkley Awards.
She is the author of the best-selling biography of Frank Lowy, “Pushing the Limits”, and has published three other books including men’s health reference texts, “Man Maintenance” and “Man Maintenance 2”
